Books by Autistic Authors for Children, Teens, Parents, & Everyone

Has your child been diagnosed with Autism recently, and you’re having trouble finding good books by people who are actually Autistic? Are you a provider looking to offer a more Neurodivergent-affirming space for your patients? Have you yourself recently been diagnosed with Autism? In this blog, you will find a variety of books written by Autistic people. From picture books to novels, there is something for everyone!

While I have not read all of these books, I have read several of them, and the others I found through various local library searches, GoodReads, Amazon, and Facebook posts. Majority of them are on my never ending to-read list. With each book, I did my best to confirm that at least one of the authors or editors is an Autistic author.

The links on this page may earn me a small commission from Amazon.
